Human DDR1 (Epithelial Discoidin Domain-containing Receptor 1) ELISA Kit

Human DDR1 (Epithelial Discoidin Domain-containing Receptor 1) ELISA Kit

The Human (DDR1) Epithelial Discoidin Domain-containing Receptor 1 ELISA Kit measures Epithelial Discoidin Domain-Containing Receptor 1 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human DDR1 antibody. DDR1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human DDR1 Antibody is added and binds to DDR1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated DDR1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human DDR1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Tyrosine kinase that functions as cell surface receptor for fibrillar collagen and regulates cell attachment to the extracellular matrix, remodeling of the extracellular matrix, cell migration, differentiation, survival and cell proliferation. Collagen binding triggers a signaling pathway that involves SRC and leads to the activation of MAP kinases. Regulates remodeling of the extracellular matrix by up-regulation of the Matrix Metalloproteinases MMP2, MMP7 and MMP9, and thereby facilitates cell migration and wound healing. Required for normal blastocyst implantation during pregnancy, for normal mammary gland differentiation and normal lactation. Required for normal ear morphology and normal hearing (By similarity). Promotes smooth muscle cell migration, and thereby contributes to arterial wound healing. Also plays a role in tumor cell invasion. Phosphorylates PTPN11. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
