Human DNAJC19 (Mitochondrial Import Inner Membrane Translocase Subunit Tim14) ELISA Kit

Human DNAJC19 (Mitochondrial Import Inner Membrane Translocase Subunit Tim14) ELISA Kit

The Human (DNAJC19) Mitochondrial Import Inner Membrane Translocase Subunit Tim14 ELISA Kit measures Mitochondrial import inner membrane translocase subunit TIM14 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human DNAJC19 antibody. DNAJC19 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human DNAJC19 Antibody is added and binds to DNAJC19 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated DNAJC19 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human DNAJC19. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Mitochondrial co-chaperone which forms a complex with prohibitins to regulate cardiolipin remodeling (By similarity). May be a component of the PAM complex, a complex required for the translocation of transit peptide-containing proteins from the inner membrane into the mitochondrial matrix in an ATP-dependent manner. May act as a co-chaperone that stimulate the ATP-dependent activity (By similarity). Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
