Human FZD5 (Frizzled-5) ELISA Kit
The Human (FZD5) Frizzled-5 ELISA Kit measures Frizzled-5 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human FZD5 antibody. FZD5 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human FZD5 Antibody is added and binds to FZD5 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated FZD5 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human FZD5. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Frizzled-5 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FZD5 gene. Members of the 'frizzled' gene family encode 7-transmembrane domain proteins that are receptors for Wnt signaling proteins. The FZD5 protein is believed to be the receptor for the Wnt5A ligand. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
