Human GCKR (Glucokinase Regulatory Protein) ELISA Kit
Human GCKR (Glucokinase Regulatory Protein) ELISA Kit
The Human (GCKR) Glucokinase Regulatory Protein ELISA Kit measures glucokinase regulatory protein in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human GCKR antibody. GCKR present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human GCKR Antibody is added and binds to GCKR in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated GCKR antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human GCKR. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
The glucokinase regulatory protein (GKRP) also known as glucokinase (hexokinase 4) regulator (GCKR) is a protein produced in hepatocytes (liver cells). GKRP binds and moves glucokinase (GK), thereby controlling both activity and intracellular location of this key enzyme of glucose metabolism. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
