Human GNRHR (Gonadotropin-releasing Hormone Receptor) ELISA Kit
Human GNRHR (Gonadotropin-releasing Hormone Receptor) ELISA Kit
The Human (GNRHR) Gonadotropin-releasing Hormone Receptor ELISA Kit measures Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone Receptor in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human GNRHR antibody. GNRHR present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human GNRHR Antibody is added and binds to GNRHR in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated GNRHR antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human GNRHR. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Receptor for gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) that mediates the action of GnRH to stimulate the secretion of the gonadotropic hormones luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). This receptor mediates its action by association with G-proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Isoform 2 may act as an inhibitor of GnRH-R signaling.
