Human GPBAR1 (G Protein-coupled Bile Acid Receptor 1) ELISA Kit
Human GPBAR1 (G Protein-coupled Bile Acid Receptor 1) ELISA Kit
The Human (GPBAR1) G Protein-coupled Bile Acid Receptor 1 ELISA Kit measures G Protein-Coupled Bile Acid Receptor 1 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human GPBAR1 antibody. GPBAR1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human GPBAR1 Antibody is added and binds to GPBAR1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated GPBAR1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human GPBAR1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Receptor for bile acid. Bile acid-binding induces its internalization, activation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase and intracellular cAMP production. May be involved in the suppression of macrophage functions by bile acids. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
