Human GPR55 (G-protein Coupled Receptor 55) ELISA Kit

Human GPR55 (G-protein Coupled Receptor 55) ELISA Kit

The Human (GPR55) G-protein Coupled Receptor 55 ELISA Kit measures G-Protein Coupled Receptor 55 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human GPR55 antibody. GPR55 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human GPR55 Antibody is added and binds to GPR55 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated GPR55 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human GPR55. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background May be involved in hyperalgesia associated with inflammatory and neuropathic pain (By similarity). Receptor for L-alpha-lysophosphatidylinositol (LPI). LPI induces Ca(2+) release from intracellular stores via the heterotrimeric G protein GNA13 and RHOA. Putative cannabinoid receptor. May play a role in bone physiology by regulating osteoclast number and function. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
