Human HBB (Hemoglobin Subunit Beta) ELISA Kit
Human HBB (Hemoglobin Subunit Beta) ELISA Kit
The Human (HBB) Hemoglobin Subunit Beta ELISA Kit measures Hemoglobin Subunit Beta in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human HBB antibody. HBB present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human HBB Antibody is added and binds to HBB in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated HBB antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human HBB. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Involved in oxygen transport from the lung to the various peripheral tissues. LVV-hemorphin-7 potentiates the activity of bradykinin, causing a decrease in blood pressure. [Spinorphin]: functions as an endogenous inhibitor of enkephalin-degrading enzymes such as DPP3, and as a selective antagonist of the P2RX3 receptor which is involved in pain signaling, these properties implicate it as a regulator of pain and inflammation.
