Human HSPA4 (Heat Shock 70kDa Protein 4) ELISA Kit
Human HSPA4 (Heat Shock 70kDa Protein 4) ELISA Kit
The Human (HSPA4) Heat Shock 70kDa Protein 4 ELISA Kit measures Heat Shock 70kDa Protein 4 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human HSPA4 antibody. HSPA4 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human HSPA4 Antibody is added and binds to HSPA4 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated HSPA4 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human HSPA4. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Heat shock 70 kDa protein 4 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the HSPA4 gene. The protein encoded by this gene was originally suggested to be a member of the heat shock protein 70 family.] However it is now known that human HSPA4 is an equivalent to mouse the Apg-2 protein and is a member of the Hsp110 family.
