Human IL-23R (Interleukin-23 Receptor) ELISA Kit
Human IL-23R (Interleukin-23 Receptor) ELISA Kit
The Human (IL-23R) Interleukin-23 Receptor ELISA Kit measures Interleukin-23 Receptor in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human IL23R antibody. IL23R present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human IL23R Antibody is added and binds to IL23R in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated IL23R antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human IL23R. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Associates with IL12RB1 to form the interleukin-23 receptor. Binds IL23 and mediates T-cells, NK cells and possibly certain macrophage/myeloid cells stimulation probably through activation of the Jak-Stat signaling cascade. IL23 functions in innate and adaptive immunity and may participate in acute response to infection in peripheral tissues. IL23 may be responsible for autoimmune inflammatory diseases and be important for tumorigenesis. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
