Human IL12RB1 (Interleukin 12 Receptor Subunit Beta-1) ELISA Kit

Human IL12RB1 (Interleukin 12 Receptor Subunit Beta-1) ELISA Kit

The Human (IL12RB1) Interleukin 12 Receptor Subunit Beta-1 ELISA Kit measures Interleukin 12 Receptor Subunit Beta-1 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human IL12RB1 antibody. IL12RB1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human IL12RB1 Antibody is added and binds to IL12RB1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated IL12RB1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human IL12RB1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Functions as an interleukin receptor which binds interleukin-12 with low affinity and is involved in IL12 transduction. Associated with IL12RB2 it forms a functional, high affinity receptor for IL12. Associates also with IL23R to form the interleukin-23 receptor which functions in IL23 signal transduction probably through activation of the Jak-Stat signaling cascade.
