Human PTPRT (Receptor-type Tyrosine-protein Phosphatase T) ELISA Kit

Human PTPRT (Receptor-type Tyrosine-protein Phosphatase T) ELISA Kit

The Human (PTPRT) Receptor-type Tyrosine-protein Phosphatase T ELISA Kit measures Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase T in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human PTPRT antibody. PTPRT present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human PTPRT Antibody is added and binds to PTPRT in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated PTPRT antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human PTPRT. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase T is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the PTPRT gene. PTPRT is also known as PTPrho, PTPρ and human accelerated region 9. The human accelerated regions are 49 regions of the human genome that are conserved among vertebrates, but in humans show significant distinction from other vertebrates. This region may, therefore, have played a key role in differentiating humans from apes. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
