Human PTPRZ1 (Receptor-type Tyrosine-protein Phosphatase Zeta) ELISA Kit

Human PTPRZ1 (Receptor-type Tyrosine-protein Phosphatase Zeta) ELISA Kit

The Human (PTPRZ1) Receptor-type Tyrosine-protein Phosphatase Zeta ELISA Kit measures Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase zeta in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human PTPRZ1 antibody. PTPRZ1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human PTPRZ1 Antibody is added and binds to PTPRZ1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated PTPRZ1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human PTPRZ1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Protein tyrosine phosphatase that negatively regulates oligodendrocyte precursor proliferation in the embryonic spinal cord. Required for normal differentiation of the precursor cells into mature, fully myelinating oligodendrocytes. May play a role in protecting oligondendrocytes against apoptosis. May play a role in the establishment of contextual memory, probably via the dephosphorylation of proteins that are part of important signaling cascades (By similarity).
