Human SIRPA (Tyrosine-protein Phosphatase Non-receptor Type Substrate 1) ELISA Kit

Human SIRPA (Tyrosine-protein Phosphatase Non-receptor Type Substrate 1) ELISA Kit

The Human (SIRPA) Tyrosine-protein Phosphatase Non-receptor Type Substrate 1 ELISA Kit measures Tyrosine-protein phosphatase non-receptor type substrate 1 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human SIRPA antibody. SIRPA present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human SIRPA Antibody is added and binds to SIRPA in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated SIRPA antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human SIRPA. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Immunoglobulin-like cell surface receptor for CD47. Acts as docking protein and induces translocation of PTPN6, PTPN11 and other binding partners from the cytosol to the plasma membrane. Supports adhesion of cerebellar neurons, neurite outgrowth and glial cell attachment. May play a key role in intracellular signaling during synaptogenesis and in synaptic function (By similarity). Involved in the negative regulation of receptor tyrosine kinase-coupled cellular responses induced by cell adhesion, growth factors or insulin. Mediates negative regulation of phagocytosis, mast cell activation and dendritic cell activation. CD47 binding prevents maturation of immature dendritic cells and inhibits cytokine production by mature dendritic cells. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
