Human SPI1 (Transcription Factor Pu.1) ELISA Kit
Human SPI1 (Transcription Factor Pu.1) ELISA Kit
The Human (SPI1) Transcription Factor Pu.1 ELISA Kit measures Transcription factor PU.1 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human SPI1 antibody. SPI1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human SPI1 Antibody is added and binds to SPI1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated SPI1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human SPI1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Binds to the PU-box, a purine-rich DNA sequence (5'-GAGGAA-3') that can act as a lymphoid-specific enhancer. This protein is a transcriptional activator that may be specifically involved in the differentiation or activation of macrophages or B-cells. Also binds RNA and may modulate pre-mRNA splicing (By similarity). Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
