Human SPRR2B (Small Proline-rich Protein 2B) ELISA Kit
Human SPRR2B (Small Proline-rich Protein 2B) ELISA Kit
The Human (SPRR2B) Small Proline-rich Protein 2B ELISA Kit measures Small proline-rich protein 2B in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human SPRR2B antibody. SPRR2B present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human SPRR2B Antibody is added and binds to SPRR2B in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated SPRR2B antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human SPRR2B. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Cross-linked envelope protein of keratinocytes. It is a keratinocyte protein that first appears in the cell cytosol, but ultimately becomes cross-linked to membrane proteins by transglutaminase. All that results in the formation of an insoluble envelope beneath the plasma membrane. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
