Human TACSTD2 (Tumor-associated Calcium Signal Transducer 2) ELISA Kit

Human TACSTD2 (Tumor-associated Calcium Signal Transducer 2) ELISA Kit

The Human (TACSTD2) Tumor-associated Calcium Signal Transducer 2 ELISA Kit measures Tumor-associated calcium signal transducer 2 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human TACSTD2 antibody. TACSTD2 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human TACSTD2 Antibody is added and binds to TACSTD2 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated TACSTD2 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human TACSTD2. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Tumor-associated calcium signal transducer 2, also known as Trop-2 and as epithelial glycoprotein-1 antigen (EGP-1), is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TACSTD2 gene. This intronless gene encodes a carcinoma-associated antigen defined by the monoclonal antibody GA733. This antigen is a member of a family including at least two type I membrane proteins. It transduces an intracellular calcium signal and acts as a cell surface receptor. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
