Human TAGLN2 (Transgelin 2) ELISA Kit
Human TAGLN2 (Transgelin 2) ELISA Kit
The Human (TAGLN2) Transgelin 2 ELISA Kit measures Transgelin 2 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human TAGLN2 antibody. TAGLN2 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human TAGLN2 Antibody is added and binds to TAGLN2 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated TAGLN2 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human TAGLN2. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Transgelin-2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TAGLN2 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a homolog of the protein transgelin, which is one of the earliest markers of differentiated smooth muscle. The function of this protein has not yet been determined. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
