Human TMOD1 (Tropomodulin 1) ELISA Kit
The Human (TMOD1) Tropomodulin 1 ELISA Kit measures Tropomodulin 1 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human TMOD1 antibody. TMOD1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human TMOD1 Antibody is added and binds to TMOD1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated TMOD1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human TMOD1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Blocks the elongation and depolymerization of the actin filaments at the pointed end. The Tmod/TM complex contributes to the formation of the short actin protofilament, which in turn defines the geometry of the membrane skeleton.
