Human VTCN1 (V-Set Domain Containing T-cell Activation Inhibitor 1) ELISA Kit

Human VTCN1 (V-Set Domain Containing T-cell Activation Inhibitor 1) ELISA Kit

The Human (VTCN1) V-Set Domain Containing T-cell Activation Inhibitor 1 ELISA Kit measures V-Set Domain Containing T-Cell Activation Inhibitor 1 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human VTCN1 antibody. VTCN1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human VTCN1 Antibody is added and binds to VTCN1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated VTCN1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human VTCN1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Negatively regulates T-cell-mediated immune response by inhibiting T-cell activation, proliferation, cytokine production and development of cytotoxicity. When expressed on the cell surface of tumor macrophages, plays an important role, together with regulatory T-cells (Treg), in the suppression of tumor-associated antigen-specific T-cell immunity. Involved in promoting epithelial cell transformation. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
