Human VTCN1 (V-set Domain-containing T-cell Activation Linhibitor 1) ELISA Kit

Human VTCN1 (V-set Domain-containing T-cell Activation Linhibitor 1) ELISA Kit

The Human (VTCN1) V-set Domain-containing T-cell Activation Linhibitor 1 ELISA Kit measures V-set domain-containing T-cell activation inhibitor 1 in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human B7-H4 antibody. B7-H4 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human B7-H4 Antibody is added and binds to B7-H4 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated B7-H4 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human B7-H4. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Negatively regulates T-cell-mediated immune response by inhibiting T-cell activation, proliferation, cytokine production and development of cytotoxicity. When expressed on the cell surface of tumor macrophages, plays an important role, together with regulatory T-cells (Treg), in the suppression of tumor-associated antigen-specific T-cell immunity. Involved in promoting epithelial cell transformation. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
