Human YWHAB (14-3-3 Protein Beta, Alpha) ELISA Kit

Human YWHAB (14-3-3 Protein Beta, Alpha) ELISA Kit

The Human (YWHAB) 14-3-3 Protein Beta, Alpha ELISA Kit measures 14-3-3 Protein Beta/Alpha in samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Human YWHAB antibody. YWHAB present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human YWHAB Antibody is added and binds to YWHAB in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated YWHAB antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human YWHAB. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Adapter protein implicated in the regulation of a large spectrum of both general and specialized signaling pathways. Binds to a large number of partners, usually by recognition of a phosphoserine or phosphothreonine motif. Binding generally results in the modulation of the activity of the binding partner. Negative regulator of osteogenesis. Blocks the nuclear translocation of the phosphorylated form (by AKT1) of SRPK2 and antagonizes its stimulatory effect on cyclin D1 expression resulting in blockage of neuronal apoptosis elicited by SRPK2. Negative regulator of signaling cascades that mediate activation of MAP kinases via AKAP13. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
