Mouse ADA (Adenosine Deaminase) ELISA Kit
Mouse ADA (Adenosine Deaminase) ELISA Kit
The Mouse (ADA) Adenosine Deaminase ELISA Kit measures adenosine deaminase in Mouse samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse ADA antibody. ADA present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse ADA Antibody is added and binds to ADA in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated ADA antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse ADA. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Adenosine deaminase (also known as adenosine aminohydrolase, or ADA) is an enzyme (EC 3.5.4.4) involved in purine metabolism. It is needed for the breakdown of adenosine from food and for the turnover of nucleic acids in tissues. Its primary function in humans is the development and maintenance of the immune system. However, the full physiological role of ADA is not yet completely understood. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
