Mouse ADMA (Asymmetrical Dimethylarginine) ELISA Kit
Mouse ADMA (Asymmetrical Dimethylarginine) ELISA Kit
The Mouse (ADMA) Asymmetrical Dimethylarginine ELISA Kit measures Asymmetrical dimethylarginine in Mouse samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse ADMA antibody. ADMA present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse ADMA Antibody is added and binds to ADMA in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated ADMA antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse ADMA. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Catalyzes the transfer of a methyl group from AdoMet to trivalent arsenicals producing methylated and dimethylated arsenicals. It methylates arsenite to form methylarsonate, Me-AsO3H2, which is reduced by methylarsonate reductase to methylarsonite, Me-As(OH)2. Methylarsonite is also a substrate and it is converted into the much less toxic compound dimethylarsinate (cacodylate), Me2As(O)-OH. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
