The Mouse (APC) Adenomatosis Polyposis Coli Protein ELISA Kit measures Adenomatosis Polyposis Coli Protein in Mouse samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse APC antibody. APC present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse APC Antibody is added and binds to APC in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated APC antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse APC. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Required for MMP9 up-regulation via the JNK signaling pathway in colorectal tumor cells. Acts as a mediator of ERBB2-dependent stabilization of microtubules at the cell cortex. It is required for the localization of MACF1 to the cell membrane and this localization of MACF1 is critical for its function in microtubule stabilization (By similarity).
