Mouse CIRBP (Cold-inducible RNA-binding Protein) ELISA Kit
Mouse CIRBP (Cold-inducible RNA-binding Protein) ELISA Kit
The Mouse (CIRBP) Cold-inducible RNA-binding Protein ELISA Kit measures Cold-inducible RNA-binding protein in Mouse samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse CIRBP antibody. CIRBP present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse CIRBP Antibody is added and binds to CIRBP in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CIRBP antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse CIRBP. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Cold-inducible mRNA binding protein that plays a protective role in the genotoxic stress response by stabilizing transcripts of genes involved in cell survival. Promotes assembly of stress granules (SGs), when overexpressed. Seems to play an essential role in cold-induced suppression of cell proliferation. Acts as a translational repressor. Acts as a translational activator. Binds specifically to the 3'-untranslated regions (3'-UTRs) of stress-responsive transcripts RPA2 and TXN. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
