Mouse CISD2 (Cdgsh Iron-sulfur Domain-containing Protein 2) ELISA Kit

Mouse CISD2 (Cdgsh Iron-sulfur Domain-containing Protein 2) ELISA Kit

The Mouse (CISD2) Cdgsh Iron-sulfur Domain-containing Protein 2 ELISA Kit measures CDGSH iron-sulfur domain-containing protein 2 in Mouse samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse CISD2 antibody. CISD2 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse CISD2 Antibody is added and binds to CISD2 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CISD2 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse CISD2. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Regulator of autophagy that contributes to antagonize BECN1-mediated cellular autophagy at the endoplasmic reticulum. Participates in the interaction of BCL2 with BECN1 and is required for BCL2-mediated depression of endoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ stores during autophagy. Contributes to BIK-initiated autophagy, while it is not involved in BIK-dependent activation of caspases. Involved in life span control, probably via its function as regulator of autophagy (By similarity). Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
