Mouse EGR3 (Early Growth Response Protein 3) ELISA Kit
Mouse EGR3 (Early Growth Response Protein 3) ELISA Kit
The Mouse (EGR3) Early Growth Response Protein 3 ELISA Kit measures Early growth response protein 3 in Mouse samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse EGR3 antibody. EGR3 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse EGR3 Antibody is added and binds to EGR3 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated EGR3 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse EGR3. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Early growth response protein 3 is a protein in humans, encoded by the EGR3 gene. The gene encodes a transcriptional regulator that belongs to the EGR family of C2H2-type zinc-finger proteins. It is an immediate-early growth response gene which is induced by mitogenic stimulation. The protein encoded by this gene participates in the transcriptional regulation of genes in controlling biological rhythm. It may also play a role in muscle development.
