The Mouse (GRB2) Growth Factor Receptor-Bound Protein 2 ELISA Kit measures Growth Factor Receptor-Bound Protein 2 in Mouse samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse GRB2 antibody. GRB2 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse GRB2 Antibody is added and binds to GRB2 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated GRB2 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse GRB2. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Adapter protein that provides a critical link between cell surface growth factor receptors and the Ras signaling pathway. [Isoform 2]: Does not bind to phosphorylated epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) but inhibits EGF-induced transactivation of a RAS-responsive element.
