Mouse ID1 (DNA-binding Protein Inhibitor ID-1) ELISA Kit
Mouse ID1 (DNA-binding Protein Inhibitor ID-1) ELISA Kit
The Mouse (ID1) DNA-binding Protein Inhibitor ID-1 ELISA Kit measures DNA-binding protein inhibitor ID-1 in Mouse samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse ID1 antibody. ID1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse ID1 Antibody is added and binds to ID1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated ID1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse ID1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Transcriptional regulator (lacking a basic DNA binding domain) which negatively regulates the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factors by forming heterodimers and inhibiting their DNA binding and transcriptional activity. Implicated in regulating a variety of cellular processes, including cellular growth, senescence, differentiation, apoptosis, angiogenesis, and neoplastic transformation. Inhibits skeletal muscle and cardiac myocyte differentiation. Regulates the circadian clock by repressing the transcriptional activator activity of the CLOCK-ARNTL/BMAL1 heterodimer.
