Mouse IDH3A (Isocitrate Dehydrogenase, Nad Subunit Alpha, Mitochondrial) ELISA Kit

Mouse IDH3A (Isocitrate Dehydrogenase, Nad Subunit Alpha, Mitochondrial) ELISA Kit

The Mouse (IDH3A) Isocitrate Dehydrogenase, Nad Subunit Alpha, Mitochondrial ELISA Kit measures Isocitrate dehydrogenase,NAD subunit alpha, mitochondrial in Mouse samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse IDH3A antibody. IDH3A present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse IDH3A Antibody is added and binds to IDH3A in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated IDH3A antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse IDH3A. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Catalytic subunit of the enzyme which catalyzes the decarboxylation of isocitrate (ICT) into alpha-ketoglutarate. The heterodimer composed of the alpha (IDH3A) and beta (IDH3B) subunits and the heterodimer composed of the alpha (IDH3A) and gamma (IDH3G) subunits, have considerable basal activity but the full activity of the heterotetramer (containing two subunits of IDH3A, one of IDH3B and one of IDH3G) requires the assembly and cooperative function of both heterodimers.
