Mouse IL21R (Interleukin-21 Receptor) ELISA Kit

Mouse IL21R (Interleukin-21 Receptor) ELISA Kit

The Mouse (IL21R) Interleukin-21 Receptor ELISA Kit measures Interleukin-21 receptor in Mouse samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse IL21R antibody. IL21R present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse IL21R Antibody is added and binds to IL21R in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated IL21R antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse IL21R. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background Interleukin 21 receptor is a type I cytokine receptor. IL21R is its human gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine receptor for interleukin 21 (IL21). It belongs to the type I cytokine receptors, and has been shown to form a heterodimeric receptor complex with the common gamma-chain, a receptor subunit also shared by the receptors for interleukin 2 (IL2), interleukin 7 (IL7) and interleukin 15 (IL15). This receptor transduces the growth promoting signal of IL21, and is important for the proliferation and differentiation of T cells, B cells, and natural killer (NK) cells.
