Mouse LIPH (Lipase Member H) ELISA Kit
The Mouse (LIPH) Lipase Member H ELISA Kit measures Lipase Member H in Mouse samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse LIPH antibody. LIPH present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse LIPH Antibody is added and binds to LIPH in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated LIPH antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse LIPH. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Hydrolyzes specifically phosphatidic acid (PA) to produce 2-acyl lysophosphatidic acid (LPA; a potent bioactive lipid mediator) and fatty acid (By similarity). Does not hydrolyze other phospholipids, like phosphatidylserine (PS), phosphatidylcholine (PC) and phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) or triacylglycerol (TG) (By similarity).
