Mouse SERPING1 (Plasma Protease C1 Inhibitor) ELISA Kit
Mouse SERPING1 (Plasma Protease C1 Inhibitor) ELISA Kit
The Mouse (SERPING1) Plasma Protease C1 Inhibitor ELISA Kit measures Plasma protease C1 inhibitor in Mouse samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse SERPING1 antibody. SERPING1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse SERPING1 Antibody is added and binds to SERPING1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated SERPING1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse SERPING1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Activation of the C1 complex is under control of the C1-inhibitor. It forms a proteolytically inactive stoichiometric complex with the C1r or C1s proteases. May play a potentially crucial role in regulating important physiological pathways including complement activation, blood coagulation, fibrinolysis and the generation of kinins. Very efficient inhibitor of FXIIa. May inhibit chymotrypsin and kallikrein. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
