Mouse SLC32A1 (Vesicular Inhibitory Amino Acid Transporter) ELISA Kit

Mouse SLC32A1 (Vesicular Inhibitory Amino Acid Transporter) ELISA Kit

The Mouse (SLC32A1) Vesicular Inhibitory Amino Acid Transporter ELISA Kit measures Vesicular inhibitory amino acid transporter in Mouse samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse SLC32A1 antibody. SLC32A1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse SLC32A1 Antibody is added and binds to SLC32A1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated SLC32A1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse SLC32A1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Research Areas Neuroscience
Background Vesicular inhibitory amino acid transporter is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SLC32A1 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is an integral membrane protein involved in gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and glycine uptake into synaptic vesicles. The encoded protein is a member of amino acid/polyamine transporter family II. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
