Porcine ADRB2 (Beta-2 Adrenergic Receptor) ELISA Kit
Porcine ADRB2 (Beta-2 Adrenergic Receptor) ELISA Kit
The Porcine (ADRB2) Beta-2 Adrenergic Receptor ELISA Kit measures Beta-2 Adrenergic Receptor in Porcine samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Porcine ADRB2 antibody. ADRB2 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Porcine ADRB2 Antibody is added and binds to ADRB2 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated ADRB2 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Porcine ADRB2. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Beta-adrenergic receptors mediate the catecholamine-induced activation of adenylate cyclase through the action of G proteins. The beta-2-adrenergic receptor binds epinephrine with an approximately 30-fold greater affinity than it does norepinephrine (By similarity). Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
