Rat CAV-1 (Caveolin-1) ELISA Kit
The Rat (CAV-1) Caveolin-1 ELISA Kit measures Caveolin-1 in Rat samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Rat Cav-1 antibody. Cav-1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Rat Cav-1 Antibody is added and binds to Cav-1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated Cav-1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Rat Cav-1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Involved in the costimulatory signal essential for T-cell receptor (TCR)-mediated T-cell activation. Its binding to DPP4 induces T-cell proliferation and NF-kappa-B activation in a T-cell receptor/CD3-dependent manner (By similarity).
