Rat PDIA3 (Protein Disulfide-isomerase A3) ELISA Kit
Rat PDIA3 (Protein Disulfide-isomerase A3) ELISA Kit
The Rat (PDIA3) Protein Disulfide-isomerase A3 ELISA Kit measures Protein disulfide-isomerase A3 in Rat samples. The plate has been pre-coated with Rat PDIA3 antibody. PDIA3 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Rat PDIA3 Antibody is added and binds to PDIA3 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated PDIA3 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Rat PDIA3. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Background
Protein disulfide-isomerase A3 (PDIA3), also known as glucose-regulated protein, 58-kD (GRP58), is an isomerase enzyme.[5][6][7] This protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and interacts with lectin chaperones calreticulin and calnexin (CNX) to modulate folding of newly synthesized glycoproteins. It is thought that complexes of lectins and this protein mediate protein folding by promoting formation of disulfide bonds in their glycoprotein substrates. Source: UniProt Consortium (2025)
